“My resistance at the start was 10/10, if not 12/10. After an hour, more like 2/10.”

“It’s actually transformative.” Full clip: I’m going to shout out my friend James, who runs a platform and coaching brand. It’s called Expansion Works, and it’s really to help creative people unblock the things that are holding them back. He’s booked and busy and doing absolutely brilliant things. And he’s a really lovely person. It’s not like traditional talking therapy. It’s, you know, go in, neutralise a moment or an issue that’s holding you back. And yeah, it’s actually transformative. Check out Expansion Works.

From nerves to a 30-minute keynote

Lydia's Instagram story from her keynote, the stage and her captions: While I've done lots of panels, this was my first 30 min keynote on building a sustainable brand and issues within the current fashion model. And as a slight worrier, this was really making me nervous. I talk pretty fast, often run out of breath and sometimes have no words in my brain. But it went sooo well!!! 3 things that really helped! 1. Lots of practice to know it all off by heart. From Lydia's newsletter: Expansion Works helped me move past some mental roadblocks in relation to my public speaking and confidence.

Your questions

Before you choose.

Which one is right for me?

Rate how strong it feels, from 0 for neutral to 10 for a high charge. On demand and the six-week group are for one moment rated 7 or below. Anything above a 7, or a pattern that has followed you for years, belongs in 1:1. Take the two-minute quiz

Is this therapy?

No. This is neurocoaching: coaching, not therapy, crisis support or medical treatment. If you are struggling right now, please speak to your GP, or call Samaritans on 116 123, any time.

Do I have to talk about the past, or share anything personal?

No. Share as little or as much as you like. You never have to tell the story aloud, even to me.

What happens in a session?

You bring one thing and rate how strong it feels, from 0 to 10. You close your eyes, and stay awake and aware the whole time. I guide you, and your own mind does the work. At the end, you rate it again.

Can I start small?

Yes. Try a session is one session for £37, before anything bigger. Or take a look inside first, with the complimentary mini course.

How do I pay?

On demand and Try a session are one payment each, and nothing renews. 1:1 has a payment plan for sessions every two weeks; for weekly sessions, you pay in full. The six-week group is paid in full, once your place is confirmed.

Coaching, not therapy or crisis support. If today feels too much, call Samaritans on 116 123, any time.
